For this role, she won the 3rd Style Icon Award for “Style Icon Actress, TV category” and 2010 SBS Drama Awards for “Excellence Award, Actress in a Drama Special” and “Best Couple” (with Lee Seung-gi).
5. She was cast alongside Park Hae-il in the 2014 romantic comedy film, Gyeongju, in which she played the character named Gong Yoon-hee.
6. From 2015 to 2016, Shin Min-a co-starred as Kang Joo-eun, a 33-year-old lawyer and formerly known as the “Venus of Daegu” in her hometown, in the fitness romantic comedy-drama series, Oh My Venus. This role helped her bag the 2015 KBS Drama Awards for “Excellence Award, Actress in a Miniseries” and “Best Couple” (with So Ji-sub) as well as the 11th Seoul International Drama Award in the “Outstanding Korean Actress” category.
7. As a musician, she has contributed to a number of songs such as Pray for Yoo-bin, I Can Give You All, Miracle Blue, Sha la la, Night Train, My Happy Day, Black Moon, and Oppa, I Love You.
